A small town known for it's potatoes is having a problem with a company dumping toxic
waste in their water source. The result of this is a mutated being that is killing everyone in
the town. This movie really has an old creature feature feel to it. Ok acting and a great cheese
factor make this worth a try. Good effects mixed with a few bad effects (but funny bad) give
this movie some watchability.

A guy that is constantly picked on sees a junked out car on the way home and decides
he has to have it. As he fixes up the car he changes as well, becoming a cocky
"greaser". The bullies trash the car and the guy and the car get revenge. Man that is one
mean ass car! This film was awesome and had spectacular special effects. This is a real
good Stephen King movie among the not-so-good.

Curtains (1983)

Rating: 6/10

Six women competing for a film role all meet at the director's mansion. They all want the role so
bad they'd do almost anything. All of a sudden the actresses are being slain by a masked killer
but who could it be? The movie was good besides being a bit boring in parts. The killer was a little
weak at first but gets more terrifying each kill. An alright slasher that isn't referenced much but
deserves a spot on the slasher timeline.

A group goes to an island to find treasure and a girl who was left there long ago. Somewhat a
Tarzan story with the girl living in the jungle and she becomes goddess of a tribe. The group
begins to have an alternate plan involving an inheri...tance from the girl's family but will the tribe
kill them all before they can claim the money? This movie is basically about a group that argues
all the time and tribe girls that don't wear clothes. It's not an overly violent movie compared to
other cannibal type movies. I wouldn't recommend it really.

Set in a mega futuristic skyscraper in which people live, work and shop in the
same building.  The continuous mirror tricks get old quick but other than that it's
a decent mind fuck of a movie.

Norman Bates is released and goes back to his house and hotel. He meets a girl
at a diner he is working at and convinces her to stay with him. Is Norman still crazy
or is someone making him crazy? I was surprised but I really liked this sequel. It had
a really cool story line that went back and forth between who's responsible for what.
It actually had a couple pretty graphic kills as well.

An anthology film based on the concepts from the television series. The first story is about a
bigot who has to live through historical events as the races he hates such as Vietnam War,
Nazi Germany and the Ku Klux Klan. The second story is about a resident at a nursing home
who helps the other residents feel young again. The third story is about a teacher while traveling
gets lost and stops at a cafe. She meets a boy and ends up taking him to his house where she
finds out he may have some secret powers. The fourth and final story is about a man who is
anxious because the plane he's on is going through heavy turbulance. He spots a creature on the
wing but no one believes him. This is a really cool anthology film with good stories throughout.
The effects were really good with some practical effects that looked amazing. One of the top
anthologies in my opinion.

A man is abuducted from his family by an alien ship. Three years later he is transfered into a
woman and comes out of her vagina a full grown man and bites off his umbilical cord. After
returning home he finds his wife has moved on but he w...ants to stay in his family's lives. He
proceeds to transfer his alien powers to his son and others. This movie has a lot of weird and
crazy imagery. It wasn't what I expected but that might be a good thing because this is a very
obscure and unique film. Check it out if you're not familiar with it.
